The one mailbox
The desk has one editorial mailbox: editor@cebufeesph.com. Messages about a page, a figure that looks wrong, or a broker detail that has changed should go there.
There is no phone line and no chat, and the desk does not promise a response time. Mail is read in the order it arrives, and a correction report is handled before general questions.
When to expect a reply and what changes the timing
Expect a reply within a few working days for a complete message, and longer when the question needs to be checked against a published figure. Timing depends on how specific the message is, whether it arrives during a Philippine public holiday, and whether it concerns a live platform fault, which is read first. A message that names the instrument, the platform, the amount in pesos and the exact wording of an error can usually be answered in one pass; a message that describes a problem in general terms needs a clarifying exchange before any answer is possible.
Correction requests about published content are read before general questions because a wrong number on a page affects every reader who acts on it. A request that quotes the page address and the sentence in question is checked against the source facts and, if it is right, the page is changed rather than debated. That priority is about the effect of the error, not about the status of the sender: a first-time reader pointing out a misstated pip value moves ahead of a general question from a long-time reader.
Messages that cannot be answered at all are closed rather than left open. That includes requests for personal trading advice, requests to recover funds or restore account access, and messages sent without enough detail to identify the subject after one clarifying attempt. You will be told which of those applies and where the matter actually belongs, so the message does not simply disappear. A closed message is not a judgement on the sender; it is a statement that this desk is the wrong address for that particular problem.
The details that make a message answerable in one reply
A useful message states the subject in the first line, then the specifics: the instrument code, the platform, the lot size, the price to two decimals, and the amount in pesos where money is involved. For gold, write XAU/USD rather than 'gold', give the size as a lot figure and, if it helps, the ounce equivalent, and give the price level to 0.01 because that is one pip. Name the funding rail as GCash or bank transfer if the question concerns deposits or withdrawals. Those five items remove most of the follow-up questions.
A useful message says what you expected and what happened instead, in that order. 'I expected the order to open at the price shown and it was rejected' is answerable; 'the platform is not working' is not. Include the exact error text if there is one, and say whether the problem is repeatable. If you have already tried something, say what, so the reply does not repeat a step you have already taken. Precision here is not a formality: it is the difference between a reply that resolves the question and one that asks you to start again.
A useful message stays within what this desk can act on. Do not send passwords, one-time PINs, full account numbers or identity documents; they are not needed to answer a question about mechanics or published content and they will not be stored. If the matter is account access or fund recovery, say so in the first line so it can be redirected rather than analysed. The shortest route to an answer is a message that names the thing, gives the number, and asks one question rather than several.
What the desk will and will not help with
The desk will explain how a cost is built, how a leverage cap works, or why a page says what it says. It will not help with an account problem, will not attempt fund recovery, and will not give personal advice on whether to trade or what to trade.
Account issues belong with the broker's own support, and a dispute about money belongs with the broker's complaint process and then the relevant regulator. For the entity serving the Philippines, the fact to keep in view is that FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC - not by the SEC of the Philippines.
How a correction request is checked and what happens to the page
A correction request is checked against the fixed facts this site works from, and the page is changed only if the published text departs from them. Send the page address, the sentence as published, and the fact you believe it contradicts. If the sentence states a leverage ratio, a spread, a commission, a swap or a minimum deposit as a number that was not given, that is a correction we will make. If the disagreement is about interpretation rather than fact, the reply will explain the reading the page is based on rather than silently editing it.
Corrections are applied to the page itself, not issued as a separate note, so a later reader sees the fixed text. Where a sentence has been rewritten, the replacement is checked for the same failure: that it states what a cost consists of and what it depends on rather than asserting a figure. The instrument details are fixed and will not be changed by request: gold is XAU/USD, 1 standard lot is 100 oz, one pip is 0.01, and the reference price used on the site is approximately 4275.0.
A correction that would require inventing a number will be declined and the reason given. If you believe a spread, commission, swap or minimum deposit figure should appear, the answer is that this site does not publish figures it was not given, so the request cannot be met by adding one. The same applies to dates, promotions and author names. The reply will say plainly that the page cannot carry that number, which is a more honest outcome than filling the gap with a plausible-looking figure.
No guest posts and no paid placement
The desk does not accept guest posts, sponsored reviews or paid placement at any price. A broker cannot buy a page, a ranking position or a softened sentence.
Affiliate links are the only revenue, and they do not change what gets written. If a broker has a weakness, the weakness stays in the text whether or not there is a commercial link on the page.
What to send with a gold pricing or platform question
Send the instrument, the timeframe, the platform and the exact screen or message you are asking about. For a gold (XAU/USD) question, state that it is XAU/USD, the lot size (for example 0.10 lot, which is 10 oz because 1 standard lot is 100 oz), the price level to two decimals (one pip is 0.01), and whether you are on MT4, MT5, cTrader or the FxPro app. A screenshot with the timestamp visible answers more than a description. If the question is about margin, include the leverage cap that applies to your account and the position size so the arithmetic can be checked against the worked figure of about $85.50 margin for 0.10 lot at the applicable cap.
Send the exact wording of any error message and the steps that produced it. For a platform question, name the platform, the order type, and whether the issue happens before or after the order reaches the server; a rejection at entry and a rejection at close are different problems. If money movement is involved, say whether you funded by GCash or bank transfer and the date and amount in pesos, but never send your full account number, one-time PIN or password. We need enough to locate the issue, not enough to access your account.
Send the page address and the sentence you believe is wrong when the question is about something published on this site. Quote the line as it appears and say what you expected instead. For a calculation question, show your own working in pesos and in dollars so the point where the two differ is visible. A message that names the instrument, the number and the source lets a reply be specific rather than general, and it removes the round trip of asking what you meant.
Questions about published facts we can answer and personal trade decisions we cannot
We can answer questions about what this site publishes: how a pip is counted on XAU/USD, how lot size converts to ounces, how margin is calculated from the leverage cap that applies to the entity serving the Philippines, and what the regulator position is. The caveat is fixed: FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC - not by the SEC of the Philippines. We can explain what that means for where a complaint can go. We can also explain the mechanics of funding by GCash or bank transfer at the level of what the process involves.
We cannot tell you whether to buy or sell gold, where to place a stop, how much of your savings to commit, or whether a particular loss was unfair. Those are personal trading decisions and they depend on your circumstances, your risk tolerance and your time horizon, none of which we assess. A question phrased as 'should I hold XAU/USD over the weekend' is a request for advice and will be answered with an explanation of the mechanics, not a recommendation. The distinction is not bureaucratic: an answer that fits one reader can be wrong for another.
We can explain how a cost is built and what it depends on, but we will not put a number on a spread, commission, swap or minimum deposit that we were not given. If you ask what a position costs, the honest answer names the components and the conditions they depend on, such as the instrument, the platform and the account terms in force. That is more useful than a figure that may not apply to your account, and it is the only kind of cost answer this desk will give.
Account access, fund recovery and personal advice belong with the broker or the regulator
This desk cannot restore account access, release a withdrawal, reverse a trade or recover funds. Those actions sit with the broker holding the account, and for a Philippine reader the relevant entity is the FxPro entity that serves this country. Contact that entity through its own support channel with your account reference; do not send account credentials to this desk, because we have no ability to act on them and no reason to hold them. A message here about a locked account will be redirected, not escalated, and the delay is yours.
If a complaint about the broker is not resolved, the regulator route depends on which entity holds the account. The fixed position is that FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC - not by the SEC of the Philippines, so the SEC of the Philippines is not the complaints route for this firm. Ask the broker which entity your account sits with and which regulator supervises it, then use that regulator's complaint process. This desk can explain that structure but cannot file, chase or decide a complaint.
Personal trading advice is outside what this desk does, and so is any judgement on whether a specific loss should be compensated. If you want to understand the mechanics behind a decision, such as how margin is calculated at the leverage cap that applies to your account, that is a question we can answer; the worked figure of about $85.50 margin for a 0.10-lot gold position is the kind of arithmetic we can walk through. What we will not do is tell you what to trade, how much to risk, or whether a past decision was right.
